Dr. Alenov


Dr. Nikolai Alenov II, has been the director of Alenov Wellness Center, a progressive and holistic clinic in Woodbury, Minnesota, since 2002.

Dr. Alenov’s schooling began at the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul, Minn., where he studied biology and pre-chiropractic courses. He then entered Palmer College of Chiropractic, the founding chiropractic school, in Davenport, Iowa. His last year of schooling was dedicated to clinical internships within Palmer’s community clinic and the last term was devoted to an externship with his mentor Dr. Stephen Irestone, in Burnsville, Minn. Before his graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic, he participated in a free chiropractic clinic on the Crow Indian Reservation in Montana.

Simultaneously, while attending Palmer, he completed his studies in Applied Kinesiology by attending AK seminars and certification courses. After obtaining his AK certification he served as teaching assistant for Dr. James Hogg, an AK Diplomat who directs the program in Davenport. Dr. Alenov integrated this into Palmer’s community as president and founder of its Applied Kinesiology Club. He is currently a member of the International College of Applied Kinesiology.

Dr. Alenov also completed his post graduate courses in Acupuncture and is currently licensed in the state of Minnesota. Dr. Alenov has also been trained by Dr. John Brimhall and has adopted his protocol for the “10 Steps to Wellness”; as well as Dr. Bob Marshall's Quantum Reflex Analysis (QRA).

Dr. Alenov is a consummate learner and is dedicated to studying the newest and most natural approaches to healthcare. Consequently, he has orchestrated and/or has been invited as a speaker on wellness related topics in different venues throughout the country. Dr. Alenov enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their son, Nikolai III. His hobbies include gardening, rock climbing, cycling, snowboarding, kayaking, reading, fishing, cooking and photography.
